Message correspondence between you and SGP? Do you have anything in writing from them stating they would fix it and/or take responsibility for it (assuming it was still under some sort of warranty)?

Have you been documenting each call you make and what action was taken (i.e. "Called 19 March, spoke with Thomas, left message again for Mark to return my call")? Same goes for any written correspondence.

My suggestions (not necessarily in the correct order, but this is probably the sequence I'd go with):

1) Send a registered letter outlining the situation, and what your expectations are with regard to any commitment from SGP to correct the problem. Include a statement that you request a response to this letter within XX days otherwise you will pursue this through legal channels.

2) Collect any assesment of the probable cause for the motor failure from local subject-matter experts.

3) Contact a lawyer and present all of your records of communications and any expert technical opinions of the current state of the motor/heads (this could lead to a notarized statement or some kind of other legal statement later down the line).

4) By now you should have received a confirmation that the registered letter was received and signed for. If the waiting period expires and there is no response, then I believe you need to seek the assistance of an attorney.

It's really a shame to hear that this issue has not been addressed nor resolved. Good luck with this.
